New
at Pan-Tec
July/August,
2007:
Initial production
manifold shipments have been made to contract manufacturers on
behalf of our end customers, a specialty pharmaceutical company and
a large medical equipment manufacturer. These production
orders were the natural result of two years of successful product
development efforts.
March,
2007:
As had been our goal,
the company is now debt-free while fully equipped with late model,
highly automated equipment. This makes for a healthy company
in it 'for the long haul'! But not so fast... this month we
have also added a new 2 pallet Kitamuura HX-250 Horizontal machining
center with 15,000 rpm spindle, 40 tool ATC and lightning fast
rapids. This was a proactive and productive move in response
to increasing capacity requirments.
May,
2006:
Pan-Tec is entering the
home stretch of a dedicated initiative in which the company has paid
down its debt, while maintaining a highly progressive, automated
operation. We will be DEBT FREE in 10 months. This will
give customers the piece of mind that comes from dealing with high
quality, low cost suppliers who are in it for the long haul.
March,
2006:
We are pleased to
welcome contract manufacturer Astro Instrumentation to our customer
base.
February,
2005:
Pan-Tec is pleased to
welcome INO Therapeutics to its customer base. INO is a
leading specialty pharmaceutical company specializing in the
development of late-stage drugs and marketing of pharmaceuticals and
delivery devices. INO sought Pan-Tec's expertise in medical
manifolds through a successful development run for a new product,
and we at Pan-Tec look forward to a long and fruitful relationship
supporting INO's future production volumes.
July,
2004:
Pan-Tec has been
selected as a machining supplier to PerkinElmer Optoelectronics
under their recently announced supplier rationalization
program. The supplier base has been significantly reduced with
the successful suppliers supporting more of the company's
requirements going forward.
June, 2003:
This month we welcomed a
leading edge Spectral Imaging Systems company to our customer base.
Our first project was in support of this customer's successful
development of an intricate optical system for scientists at MIT.
A second project, an imaging filter system for breast cancer
detection, was completed and delivered in less than one week
from inception. The design engineer has depended on Pan-Tec's
quality, service and optical
machined component know-how over a 15 year period while working at
other optical device and systems companies.
March,
2003:
Pan-Tec is pleased to
announce the signing of a Network Procurement™ Agreement with a
unit of Parker Hannifin's Instrumentation Division. This
agreement formalizes what has been a long standing and successful
ongoing relationship, and sets a foundation for continuing
improvement of all aspects of the partnership.
July, 2002:
Pan-Tec welcomes
Hill-Rom Corporation, whose Medical Equipment division qualified our
Quality Control System this month, to our customer base!
February,
2002:

Our Cad/Cam system has
been upgraded to Mastercam®
Version 9 for milling & lathe which
includes support for AutoCAD® DWG,
DXF and Inventor files and updated translators using the latest
libraries for SAT & Parasolids®.
This system provides enhanced capabilities for solid feature
recognition.
